Patented Waste
Oil Burners
INOV8 offers two burners both capable of burning a wide variety
of waste oils in the safest design available. The patented
technology allows the burning of waste oils regardless of
viscosity or flash point. The pre-heater heats the oil to
a temperature where all oils reach the same viscosity. The
pump circulates this oil around the heating element through
small tubes at a rate of three feet per second. This prevents
burning of oil that typically occurs in competitor designs.
The burned oil resembles hard black pieces that will block
in a nozzle and cause shutdowns. |
This
system also allows the oil to be preheated to a higher temperature
providing two benefits:
- the ability to burn the higher flash point oils like synthetic
and vegetable oils and
- to burn all of the hydrocarbon molecules in the oils for
complete and clean combustion with no smoke. The patented
needle assembly seats into the nozzle during each shutdown
keeping the oil sealed within the system and keeping the
nozzle clean.
Safety has been a critical element in the design of the
INOV8 burners. We use a Fireye industrial rated combustion
control suited for the "unpredictable" nature
of waste oil. It monitors the flame and delivers the oil
only when everything is working properly. Competitor burners
use a combustion control intended for residential fuel oil,
which is very "predictable" by comparison. Another
strong feature is the ease of servicing the INOV8 burner.
All components are modular in design such that they can
be changed out easily if there is a failure.
The two burners are adjustable with minor changes to the
oil pressure and perhaps a nozzle change that allows us
to offer BTU outputs ranging from 100,000 to 1,000,000.

Model B200 Burner - The B200 ranges in
size from 100,000 to 600,000 BTUs. It has been used for thirteen
years in three furnaces and six boiler sizes. It is also the
burner that is used with the evaporator and wood fired furnace.
It has proven to be highly reliable in all of these applications.
Model B700 Burner - The INOV8 B700 ranges in output
from about 700,000 to over 1,000,000 BTUs. It has been successfully
used in large building applications where there is a high
heat load requirement. It has all of the features of the
smaller burner. |
